About me
I have worked within the Mishicot School District for 20 years. To describe me, I am a very passionate and dedicated learner and teacher of history. My mission is to provide a historical learning environment that invites my students to experience history as stories waiting to be told and interpreted. I have participated in professional development programs such as Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute, Center for the Study of the American Constitution, and Freedoms Foundation Medal of Honor program. In 2022, I earnedmy Masters in American History through Pace University/Gilder Lehrman Institute. I currently teach AP World, CCIHS UWGB 205 and 206, US History, US History II, Current Events, CCIHS Special Topics 277: Women's Rights, and Financial Literacy.
